Day-to-day duties:
As a
Class 2 Driver , your duties will include (but not be limited to): Safely transport goods to client sites
Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently Performing pre-trip and post trip vehicle checks Adhering to to traffic laws and company procedures Communicating effectively with the transport office Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly Essential skills:
To be successful as a
Class 2 Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category C licence
A minimum of 24 month's experience driving Category C ADR vehicles
In date ADR license required No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
A valid UK CPC card and Digi card
Good spoken and written English
Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills
A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations
Effective communication skills
Desirable experience: Previous commercial driving experience
Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training: A one-day paid induction for successful candidates
