HGV Class 2 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Falkirk.

Shifts: Monday to Friday: AM starts Rate of pay: £14.75 per hour Benefits include: Your benefits as a HGV Class 2 Driver are: Ongoing work Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Day-to-day duties: As a HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to): Carrying out palletised multi drop deliveries and collections from customer sights Operating and driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Essential skills: To be successful as a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category C licence A minimum of twelve months' experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes A valid UK CPC card and Digi card Good spoken and written English Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Training: Driver's assessment must be completed before starting this takes place on your first shift.
