Job Overview
CareerMakers Recruitment is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing general haulage work based in Trafford Park. This is a great opportunity for long-term work with immediate starts, regular shift patterns, and a route into permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities
*
Operate Category C (Class 2) vehicles for deliveries and collections
*
Perform multi-drop or trunking runs (palletised, via FLT or tail lift)
*
Complete daily vehicle checks and paperwork
*
Comply with UK road transport laws and site procedures
*
Deliver professionally to depots and commercial sites
Requirements
*
Valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) Licence
*
CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*
Ideally 2 years’ experience (flexible for the right candidate)
*
Good UK road knowledge and a strong work ethic
Pay & Benefits
*
£14.50 – £16.25/hr PAYE (dependent on shift/client)
*
£16.00 – £18.00/hr overtime after standard hours
*
Weekly pay, every Friday
