RATE OF PAY: £18.30 - £26.82 per hour based on shift times

We are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Driver for our client, WINCANTON SAINSBURYS; the role involves Convenience store delivery work. Enjoy competitive pay rates and plenty of overtime. Fixed rotas available for a minimum of 4 shifts per week.

Shift Start Times Available:

20:00 – 00:00 - Nights

04:00 – 08:00 - Days

****Estimated minimum weekly pay based on 55 hours £1,006****

****Expected minimum annual earnings £52,338****

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES:

Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.

Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.

Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.

HGV Class 2 drivers must Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.

Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary

Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills

Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised

Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service

Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

Requirements:

HGV CLASS 2 license (minimum 6 months C+E experience)

Full HGV CLASS 2 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements

Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards

Strong understanding of Driver’s Hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive

Excellent geographical knowledge

Customer-focused attitude
