Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Day Driver on behalf of one of our clients.
This role involves regular driving on local palletised collect & deliver work.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Class 2 Driver: To collect and deliver to assigned locations in a timely manner, ensuring all specific company and pallet network processes are followed. Supporting the Transport Manager and Shift Supervisors where required to ensure all health & safety regulations are met. Ensuring that you are pro-active in ensuring your CPC training is up to date (paid for by company). Complying with all health & safety regulations as set out by the company and regulatory bodies. Dealing with all customers politely and with respect. Ensuring any issues are raised through the appropriate channels in a professional manner. Always acting as a positive representative, ensuing your appearance and that of your vehicle always reflects this.
