HGV Class 2 Drivers – New Passes Welcome - Halesowen
People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in Halesowen and the surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver or Truck Driver .
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday: 05: 00 am starts
Pay Rate:
£15.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver will be:
Safely operate and drive Category C vehicles to and from delivery locations
Multi-drop deliveries to various customers with different delivery methods
Handle and deliver frozen and chilled products efficiently
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to management
Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff
SOME HANDBALL REQUIRED
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be a HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Valid UK Category C Licence
Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes)
Reliable, professional, and punctual
Good communication and customer service skills
Must be reasonably physically fit as some handball required
Desirable Experience:
Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience
Experience handling large or bulky goods
Good customer interaction and service skills
Training:
Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
