07:00) Annual Leave: 25 Days + Bank Holidays Job Security: Full-time, Temp ongoing Contract OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Manoeuvring: Managing multi-drop deliveries of building materials using lorry-mounted loaders (HIAB). Load Security: Ensuring all goods are safely loaded, secured, and distributed according to industry regulations. Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to EU Road Transport Regulations, Driver Hours, and Health & Safety legislation. Vehicle Integrity: Maintaining the fleet through rigorous daily walk-around checks and reporting. Professional Representation: Providing a top-tier customer experience for both trade and retail clients. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Credentials: Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Category C), CPC, and Digital Tacho card. Certification:
Current accredited HIAB certification is mandatory. Track Record: Minimum 12 months of HGV experience with recent tacho-recorded driving. Skillset: Expertise in multi-drop logistics and a deep understanding of WTD Regulations. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Reading area and the builders' merchant industry is highly beneficial.
