Class 2 HIAB Driver

to join our well-established client based in

Bellshill

and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. To be eligible for this role you

MUST

have a valid grab HIAB licence. Shifts: Monday - Friday: 06:30 starts Rates of Pay: £16.25 - £19.00 per hour Benefits: As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Car park on site Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a Class 2 HIAB Driver will involve but not be limited to: Delivering most building materials to construction sites Operating and driving various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Operating a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently (brick grab) Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills As a Class 2 HIAB Driver you will need to: Be able to work as part of a team Hold a valid grab HIAB Certificate Have no more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Be able to use PDA (personal digital assistant) Hold a valid UK Category C Licence Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Be able to speak and read a good level of English Be punctual and have excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Have effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience with multi drop deliveries Training Training will be provided on first day and ongoing support throughout Contact If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
