About the Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will: Safely operate LGV Class C vehicles fitted with tipper/ hooklift equipment to transport biosolids between sites, including rural and off‑road locations across Devon and Cornwall. Complete timely collections and deliveries in line with scheduled routes, operational priorities, and environmental compliance requirements. Ensure safe, compliant loading, securing, and unloading of containers in accordance with company procedures and biosolids handling standards. Maintain accurate records, including delivery/collection notes, tachograph data, and onboard system updates. Communicate regularly and effectively with the transport coordination team, site staff, and land management teams to support smooth daily operations and customer expectations. Provide excellent customer service during both on-site interactions and phone communications. Navigate rural routes and remote farm locations requiring strong driving skills, awareness, and adaptability. Contribute to sustainable waste management practices within the agricultural sector by supporting environmentally responsible biosolids transport. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence. CPC qualification and digital tachograph card. Experience operating tipper/ hooklift equipment (training may be provided for the right candidate). Previous experience within waste, recycling, agriculture, utilities, or similar heavy transport environments is advantageous. Why Join Gregory Distribution Ltd?
