The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.
Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required. *New pass welcome* Shift (Full time or part time) - Nights - Shifts across Sunday to Saturday - 23:59pm Starts Part Time - Friday night and Sunday Night Pay Rate: Class 2 Nights -£17.42 per hour PAYE Class 1 Nights -£17.92 per hour PAYE Location: Crawley RH10 Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: . Experience would be preferred but new passes will be considered Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Cat C) Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
