HGV Class 1 Driver Flatbed Steel Deliveries Thurrock, Essex WPRG Ltd are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a large steel distributor based in Thurrock, Essex.

This is an ongoing role delivering steel products including sheet metal, rods, and girders on flatbed trailers. All deliveries and collections are handled by forklift or crane no manual lifting required. You will be responsible for securing loads using straps or chains to ensure safe delivery. The Role As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties include: Delivering 510 steel deliveries per day on flatbed trailers Securing loads with straps/chains Following all health & safety procedures Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork Working with professional steel distribution teams Shift Pattern Monday Friday Start time: 05:30 06:00 Minimum 10.5 hours paid per shift Overtime paid after 10.5 hours Immediate starts available for regular ongoing shifts Drug & alcohol testing required prior to starting Pay Basic: £19.00 per hour / £21.29 per hour (includes holiday pay) Overtime (after 10.5 hours): £21.00 / £23.53 per hour (includes holiday pay) Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 licence (minimum 12 months) Full CPC qualification Digital Tachograph card Maximum 6 points on licence Experience with strapping/chaining to secure loads preferred Benefits Onsite parking Workplace pension Ongoing training and development opportunities No manual lifting all forklift/crane handled How to Apply Call to register or click APPLY below to submit your application online. xehkeey WPRG Ltd is an Employment Agency.
