HGV Mechanic – Astley

Careermakers Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic on behalf of our client based in Astley. This is a great opportunity for a skilled mechanic looking for stable weekday work with competitive pay.

The Role

Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGV vehicles Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance Ensuring vehicles are maintained to DVSA and road safety standards Keeping accurate maintenance records and reports

Shift Details

Monday to Friday 10-hour shifts Working between 06:00 – 19:00 Ongoing work available

Pay Rate

£17.00 – £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Requirements

Previous experience working as an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician Strong diagnostic and repair skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant mechanical qualifications preferred but not essential Reliable and professional attitude
