*Summary*

Ideally, DMS Commercial Services Ltd are looking for Level 3 Qualified Mechanics to join our hard working and friendly team, in the centre of the busy West Wilts Trading estate, in Westbury.

You will make up part of a shift team and will be working directly under the shift supervisor. You will be working on our own Internal fleet of vehicles for our sister company DMS Transport solutions, as well as third party haulage trucks and trailers.

You will be working in the HQV workshop, on a mixture of vehicles and carrying out a range of tasks, you will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair such as:

*Responsibilities* * Weekly vehicle & trailer inspections. * Contracted Servicing and pre-planned maintenance. * Reactive maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics * MOT preparation & presentation. * Correction of running defects. * Engine and gear box repairs * Tyre remedial and repairs. * Local breakdowns (fully equipped workshop van)

*Requirements* * Be apprentice trained and/or qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ level 2/3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent - be working to DVSA standards * Preferably Irtec trained * Have the ability to work as part of a busy team and autonomously. * Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter is Preferred * LGV licence C + E desirable * Capability to report correct information to colleagues * Have your own comprehensive tool kit

Pay: £18.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
