*Due to continued growth and expansion, Star Commercials are looking to recruit skilled HGV Technicians in Thorne Doncaster. *

*Shift Patterns*

*We offer several shift options:*

*Days (Rolling Shift)* 4 days on / 4 days off

*Alternating Early & Late Shift* Monday – Friday *Early: 7:00am – 4:00pm* Late: 1:00pm – 10:00pm

*Permanent Late Shift* Monday – Friday *1:00pm – 10:00pm*

*The Role*

*As part of our skilled and supportive workshop team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality service and maintenance to our customers.*

*Your responsibilities will include:*

Fault diagnosis, servicing and repair of HGV vehicles *Completing repair orders, service reports and job card documentation* Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and electronic faults *Working efficiently under pressure to meet workshop targets* Maintaining excellent communication within the team and with management *Delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times*

*Requirements*

*We are looking for candidates who have:*

Proven experience as a HGV or Van Technician *Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in HGV/vehicle mechanics* NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) *Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems* Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail *Strong communication and teamwork skills* A full UK driving licence

*Enhanced rates are available for qualified Mercedes-Benz Truck Systems or Diagnostic Technicians.*
