Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration. £21.63 P/H We are looking for a skilled and adaptable HGV Technician with strong diagnostic ability to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in the Reading area.
This role focuses on carrying out advanced diagnostics using manufacturer-level equipment, identifying faults, and completing high-quality repairs. You will also support routine servicing, inspections, and general maintenance as required.
You'll be working across a range of commercial vehicle brands, so a proactive, "can-do" attitude is essential. Ongoing training and development will be provided, including both in-house and manufacturer-led programmes, to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Rate: up to £21.63 per hour (depending on experience) On Target Earnings (OTE): up to £64,000 per year Shift Allowance: £3,000 per year (late shift) Productivity Bonus: up to £6,000 annually (paid quarterly) Overtime readily available Weekend and overtime paid at enhanced rates (1.5x)Hours:
40 hours per week Split shift rotation: Week 1: 6:00am - 3:00pm Week 2: 1:00pm - 10:00pm 1 in 3 Saturdays: 7:00am - 12:00pm

Requirements
Essential: xehkeey Experience as an HGV Technician with diagnostic capability Strong problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork Organised and able to meet deadlines Flexible approach to workloadDesirable (not essential):
