HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic Location: Reading Salary - £49,000 +OT Shifts:
Monday to Friday (alternating Saturday morning)
Day Shift - 7am to 4:30pm
We are seeking a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic for an industry leading client in Reading. Our client is one of the most well respected in the HGV industry and a household name throughout the UK meaning there is plenty of progression opportunities for their team! Duties :
Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Perform inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on various HGV/Trailers.
Use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery.
Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used, maintaining thorough documentation.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (will also consider time served applicants).
Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
Strong problem-solving skills
