HGV Technician
Shift: Various shifts available Hours: 40 hours per week Type: Permanent Location: Heathrow Area Salary: £60,844 per annum
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join our client’s operation at a busy commercial vehicle dealership.
Working primarily on MAN and Isuzu trucks, you will support a wide customer network by carrying out overnight inspections, servicing, and repairs to keep vehicles on the road during the day.
HGV Technician – The Role
*
Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance
*
Perform basic and intermediate repairs on HGVs
*
Accurately diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
*
Communicate clearly regarding vehicle status and any delays
*
Ensure all work meets health & safety and quality standards
HGV Technician – Requirements
*
Relevant qualification or proven time-served HGV experience
*
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
*
Good communication skills
*
Organised and able to work to deadlines
*
Flexible and willing to take on varied tasks
*
Understanding of health and safety requirements
Desirable (Not Essential)
*
Level 3 qualification
*
Manufacturer training or accreditation
*
LGV / HGV / PCV licence
*
IRTEC accreditation
