ASAP A major UK engineering contractor delivering large-scale data centre projects is seeking an experienced
HV Authorised Person
to support HV operations, switching, and safety management on a flagship London hyperscale site. This is a long-term opportunity with a contractor known for exceptional engineering capability, strong safety culture, and consistent repeat business with global data centre clients. Key Responsibilities Carry out HV switching, permits, isolations, and safety documentation Act as the Authorised Person for HV systems across the project Ensure compliance with electrical safety rules and site procedures Support commissioning teams during energisation and IST phases Coordinate with electrical supervisors, engineers, and client representatives Review HV designs, RAMS, switching schedules, and procedures Maintain HV logs, reports, and safety records Key Requirements Experience as an HV AP on data centre, industrial or mission-critical projects Strong knowledge of HV distribution, switching, and safety processes Ability to manage safe systems of work and deliver switching operations Experience supporting commissioning and energisation phases Excellent communication and coordination skills Whats on Offer £400£500 per day Long-term contract on a major multi-year DC programme Work with one of the UK's strongest technical contractors High-performance engineering environment with strong progression
