We are currently recruiting for a
Higher-Level Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor
to join a supportive and welcoming school.
This exciting
Aylesbury-based
role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play a vital part in the education of young people. You'll cover lessons in the absence of teaching staff and also lead small group interventions, helping pupils achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise full classes during teacher absences
Support students in small groups or one-to-one interventions
Lead and manage a team of Assistant Teachers
Assist with planning, resource development and lesson delivery
Contribute to inclusion and behaviour strategies
Help implement school policies on safeguarding, wellbeing, and academic achievement
We're Looking For:
Experience working in an educational setting
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A proactive and resilient attitude
HLTA status or willingness to work towards it
