Key Responsibilities:
Conducting statutory safety inspections and asset condition inspections Gathering network intelligence to support local teams in planning and executing projects Coordinating and placing orders for necessary interventions in line with policy Assisting in the development of annual planned works programmes and service planning processes Providing detailed reports on inspections and risk assessments Ensuring adherence to company health and safety procedures and promoting safe working practices
Job Requirements:
ONC/City & Guilds 6033 Scheme - Highway Safety Inspection Award or similar accreditation/NRSWA - accredited (Supervisor) Comprehensive understanding of the Assess and Decide Policy Experience and proficiency in identifying and assessing highway defects for interventions Detailed knowledge of the Inspection Manual and the Well Maintained Highways Code of Practice for Highways Maintenance Management Understanding of operational delivery within the TMC/Civil Engineering sector Awareness of safety, quality, and environmental issues Knowledge of construction methodologies with a strong grasp of H&S and TMA compliance Full UK Driving Licence
