Working Hours:Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 0900-1430hrs (15 hours per week)
Pay Rate:£14.85 per hour
Department:Agriculture HR
Role:Part-Time, temporary role with an opportunity to gain permanent employment from December 2026
The Opportunity
This is not simply a role it is an opportunity to join a supportive HR Team .
As a HR Administrator you will:
Administer weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and within deadlines
Acting as a first point of contact for pay queries, resolving or escalating as needed
Supporting managers with pay records and additional payments in MHR
Managing the Agriculture HR shared inbox and escalating queries where required
Coordinating new starter onboarding, including right-to-work checks and documentation
Processing absence records and updating payroll and HR systems accordingly
Liaising with HR Shared Services on employee changes and updates
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and digital files
Updating case management trackers and producing monthly reports
About you:

Strong numeracy skills and ability to problem solve complex pay queries
Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work at pace
Confident communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff
IT literate with good knowledge of xehkeey Microsoft Office and HR/Payroll systems
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Experience working in a busy / similar role
Desirable:
Previous HR, Payroll, Finance or book keeping experience
