HR ADMINISTRATOR Full Time office based| London\n\n £35,000\n\nDetails:\n\nWe're looking for a confident and people-focused HR & Payroll Officer to join our team South West London.\n\nThis is a key role within our HR function, responsible for delivering an accurate, timely payroll service and providing hands-on support across a wide range of HR administration.\n\nThe HR & Payroll Officer will be the go-to person for all payroll and employee data queries, ensuring every payslip is right first time and that colleagues receive clear, friendly support when they need it. You'll also play an active role in keeping our HR processes running smoothly - from onboarding new starters to maintaining employee records and supporting day-to-day queries across the business.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nActing as a first point of contact for payroll and HR queries - providing clear, friendly, and solution-focused support\nSupporting the HR team with a range of administration, including:\nPreparing contracts and letters\nMaintaining accurate employee records in the HR system\nCoordinating onboarding and probation processes\nSupporting HR projects and employee engagement activities\nWorking with managers to ensure payroll and HR information is accurate and deadlines are met\nHelping to improve processes, reduce manual work, and maintain strong controls\nChecking the number of hours employees have worked\nCalculating wages and salaries\nIssuing employees' wages by cash, cheque or electronic transfer\nCollaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data\nCalculating pay raises, shift payments and overtime compensation\nIssuing tax forms and related documentation and assisting employees to complete them\nDeducting tax and insurance payments\nResolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters\nChanging employee bank records when necessary to process payments accurately\nInitiating direct deposits What We're Looking For\n\nSomeone with 2 years HR Administration experience and Payroll\nExcellent attention to detail, organisation, and confidentiality\nHigh people skills and a strong customer-service mindset - approachable, clear, and proactive\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Excel \n\n£35,000\nStart: ASAP\n5 days per week based in London Interested or know someone who might be?
