where HR plays a central role in shaping culture, supporting people, and enabling the organisation to deliver meaningful impact in the community. As HR Advisor, youll be a trusted partner to managers, providing

expert employee relations advice

and helping leaders confidently navigate an evolving employment landscape. Working closely with the HR Director, youll also take the lead on key HR projects, including

benchmarking, organisational change, and restructuring , giving you exposure well beyond a traditional advisory role. This is a role for an HR professional who enjoys variety, values purpose, and wants to make a genuine difference through people. Key Responsibilities

Act as a first-class

employee relations specialist , advising and supporting managers across a wide range of ER matters

Coach and upskill managers to build confidence, capability, and consistency in people management

Lead and support HR projects such as

benchmarking, organisational restructures, and continuous improvement initiatives

Contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture

Ensure HR best practice and employment law compliance are applied consistently across the organisation

Maintain accurate HR records and effectively use HR systems and databases

Work collaboratively across the organisation, balancing advisory work with project delivery

About You

Experience

Around

3 years experience

as an HR/ER generalist

Strong, hands-on

employee relations experience , with a genuine interest in developing this specialism further

Experience using

HR systems and databases

Proven ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines

Skills & Personal Attributes

Excellent knowledge of

HR best practice and employment law

Resilient, pragmatic, and proactive, with a solution-focused mindset

Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, build trust, and communicate confidently at all levels

Highly organised, detail-focused, and IT-literate

Loyal, honest, trustworthy, and professional in approach

Confident working independently, while also thriving as part of a collaborative team
