Job Title: HR Advisor
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Bolton (Hybrid)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9-5
The HR Advisor will play a key role within OFG, working with colleagues in the wider People Services team to ensure excellent service delivery to staff and managers. This role involves case management support to line managers and employees, handling inquiries and processes in line with policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an advisor to stakeholders, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage employment relations cases.
- Monitor all types of absence and sickness issues.
- Support the People Administration team with escalated issues, providing advice and guidance.
- Implement and administer employee policies and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the People Strategy.
Standard Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in performance review programs.
- Adhere to OFG policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
- Work in accordance with safeguarding policies.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Generalist HR experience.
- Organized with strong planning and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to manage high-volume work.
- Stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to build rapport with third parties and managers.
- Effective in managing emotionally charged situations.
- Knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality.
- CIPD qualification (Certificate in Personnel Practice).
Safeguarding experience is preferred but not essential.
