Job Description

The HR Advisor provides hands-on, practical HR and employee relations support to managers and employees across the business. The role focuses heavily on managing ER cases end-to-end, ensuring compliance with UK employment law, company policies, and best practice, while supporting a positive and consistent employee experience.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n1. Employee Relations (Core Focus)\n\n * \n\n Manage a full range of ER cases end-to-end, including:\n\n * \n\n Disciplinary (conduct & capability)\n\n * \n\n Grievance\n\n * \n\n Absence management (short- and long-term)\n\n * \n\n Probation management\n\n * \n\n Flexible working requests\n\n * \n\n Low-level conflict and mediation\n\n * \n\n Advise managers on fair, consistent and legally compliant processes, aligned to ACAS guidance and internal policy.\n\n * \n\n Draft ER documentation including:\n\n * \n\n Investigation letter, outcome letter, PIP documentation, hearing invites and decisions\n\n * \n\n Support and, where required, conduct investigations, including note-taking and report writing.\n\n * \n\n Identify ER trends and proactively flag risks to HR Manager / P&C BP.\n\n2.

HR Advisory & Manager Support\n\n * \n\n Act as a trusted first point of contact for managers on day-to-day people matters.\n\n * \n\n Support organisational change activity (e.g. restructures, role changes, redundancies) where required.\n\n * \n\n Support the review and updating of HR policies.\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate and confidential employee records\n\n4. People Operations & HR Projects\n\n * \n\n Support core HR processes including:\n\n * \n\n Onboarding & probation reviews\n\n * \n\n Contract changes\n\n * \n\n Leavers and exit processes\n\n * \n\n Produce basic HR metrics and reports (e.g.
