Human Resources Business Partner (Maternity Cover)
Location: Baltic Place, Gateshead (Hybrid) – some travel across England and to Stirling also required
Working hours: 38.75 hours, Monday to Friday
Contract:12 Month FTC

The HR Business Partner for our Facilities Management business will work closely with and deputise for the RFM HR Director to lead the HR team and drive the effective delivery of a forward-thinking and proactive HR service to all RFM stakeholders.
Your new role
What you’ll do
The HRBP will foster meaningful relationships that create opportunities to promote HR and the services provided, both internally and externally. The HR services include attraction, recruitment, talent management, employee relations and organisational change.
Partnering with business leaders across a fast-paced business, the HRBP will lead on the execution of people strategies by translating the strategy into meaningful and actionable regional people plans, ensuring business goals and metrics are met, and driving a high-performance culture through coaching and stakeholder engagement with people leaders.
What you’ll need
- A track record of overseeing high volume HR workload in a fast-paced environment
- Specialist employee relations skillset
- Significant experience of leading on complex TUPE programmes, preferably in both public and private sectors
- Strong commercial awareness
- Experience of managing a HR team, including Recruitment and Employee Relations
- Experience of working with external clients and Trade Unions
- Ability to analyse complex situations and provide workable solutions to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Chartered or Graduate member of the CIPD
As a key member of the HR leadership team within Robertson Facilities Management (RFM), you will lead the Employee Relations and Recruitment team to provide drive the effective delivery of a forward thinking and proactive HR service.
