As a member of the Human Resources team, you can make a real difference by providing expert workforce planning support to specific areas of the business.
You will ensure each department has a workforce plan that complies with best practice methodology and remains financially sustainable.
These plans must feed into the strategic priorities of the service, encompassing both short-to-medium-term scenario planning to address immediate requirements. Additionally, you will focus on longer-term capability, capacity, and design to meet the future requirements of effective and efficient policing services.
Key Responsibilities -
Collaborate with Finance colleagues exerting budgetary influence on revenue expenditure as it relates to staffing, with clear focus on affordability to ensure short, medium and long-term workforce plans are robust and correlate to agreed financial plans.
Support delivery of the Strategic Workforce Plan (SWP), contributing to the effective embed of SWP and related data analysis.
To lead, develop and performance manage the HR Advisors within the Workforce Planning team within Organisational Development, ensuring work is co-ordinated and completed to a high standard within agreed timescales in support of HR strategies, initiatives, priorities and plans.
