Our client, who have recently moved to new updated facilities due to business growth, is looking for a HSEQ Advisor to join the team. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance within the industry's regulatory framework and legal requirements as well as maintain internal policies and procedures. You will be responsible for supporting the Quality Strategy and working with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk.A H&S qualification will be required (NEBOSH or equivalent) and a good understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement compliance programmes and policies and conduct risk assessmentsLead on new certificationsEnsure the company has internal controls that adequately measure and manage the risks that the company facesDesign, update and maintain internal policies to mitigate the risk of the company breaking laws and regulations and lead internal audits of proceduresDevelop and update health, safety and environmental policies to ensure business complianceConduct internal and external auditsCommunicate the company's key ethical principals, regulatory changes and compliance regulationsEnsure all employees work efficiently and safely without violating any laws or company policiesMaintain complete and accurate compliance documentationTrack and report compliance violations or irregularitiesKeep up to date with new laws and regulation changesDesign and deliver EHS training to all staff at all levelsIdentify areas where improvements could be madeSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a HSEQ roleUnderstanding of: ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 is requiredIn depth knowledge of the regulated environmentH&S qualification e.g. NEBOSH certificate or equivalentKnowledge of UK health and safety legislation and standardsHigh ethical standards and the ability to lead by exampleExcellent people skills and expertise in communication and trainingProactive, organised and confident working independentlyHigh level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft OfficeWorking Hours37.5 hours per week - Reduced hours maybe consideredOffice basedSalary£35,000-£40,000BenefitsFree onsite parkingCompany Pension SchemeCycle to work scheme24 days annual leave plus bank holidaysBirthday VouchersCompany EventsJBRP1_UKTJ
