Role: Hydraulic Field Service EngineerLocation: Field BasedSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 Depending on experienceOur client is looking for a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role involving on-site diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and installation of hydraulic systems and components across a range of industrial and mobile equipment.Responsibilities include:Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and pipeworkInstall, commission, and test hydraulic equipmentRead and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawingsCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Provide technical advice and support to customers on-siteComplete detailed service reports and documentationEnsure compliance with health & safety regulationsParticipate in on-call rotaSkills and Experience:Proven experience working with hydraulic systems (mobile or industrial)Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret hydraulic diagramsMechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent preferred)Full clean driving licenceStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
