A rapidly expanding UK & International freight forwarding organisation is looking for an Import road Freight Groupage Operator / Clerk to join their expanding road freight groupage team. The client is looking for a minimum of 2 years road freight experience, import and groupage experience. ROLE: Import road freight Operator

LOCATION: Essex

BASIC SALARY: £30k to £35k

BENEFITS: Pension ROLE:

Handling European Import road freight groupage services.

Arranging movement of import road freight from origin to final destination, both international and national.

Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers. Experience required:

Must have a good understanding of European Import Groupage road freight, at least 2 years experience.

Capable of manually calculating costs and charges.

Understanding of taxable kilos.

Good customer service skills.

Experience with Customs paperwork.

Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.
