This is a client-facing role, and you must therefore be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Working on live construction projects, providing support to our teams involved in the ongoing contract management and administration of major international projects.
Reviewing and appraising risks in contracts on projects.
Making bespoke amendments to standard contracts.
Helping to prepare sub-contractor agreements.
Drafting correspondence, including counter-claim letters.
Facilitating negotiations in meetings, including translations.
Assisting in the preparation of independent, third-party reports.
Discovery.
General administration support.
Requirements
Have obtained an SRA qualifying law degree in the UK (2.1 and above)
Experience as a Construction Paralegal
An understanding of construction law
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong research and analytical skills
Hardworking and diligent
Flexible and mobile
Proficient in using legal software and other related IT applications
