In-House Commercial Lawyer - Senior Legal Manager - 9+ pqe - London - Hybrid

We are working with a high-performing in-house Commercial team with a leading professional services firm.

They continue to scale up globally and they are now looking to bring in a Managing Lawyer to sit alongside the Global Head of Commercial and play a genuinely senior, visible role in the business.

You will be a true in-house leader managing a small legal team. You will  be advising lawyers and non-lawyers across multiple offices, leading complex commercial and procurement projects end-to-end, and acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across the firm.

What the role looks like in practice:

\n\t
• Leading and owning high-impact commercial projects from start to finish
\n\t
• Advising on a broad range of commercial, tech (including AI) and procurement contracts
\n\t
• Partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the firm on risk, strategy and delivery
\n\t
• Designing and delivering training for lawyers and non-lawyers
\n\t
• Setting best-practice standards and mentoring more junior lawyers within the team
\n\t
• Playing a key role in the firm’s wider risk mitigation and governance strategy
\n

Who this is likely to suit:

\n\t
• A qualified lawyer with c. 9+ years’ experience
\n\t
• Background in a top-tier law firm and/or in-house within a global organisation
\n\t
• Strong exposure to commercial, tech and procurement work (professional services experience is key)
\n\t
• Comfortable operating at senior level, influencing stakeholders and working autonomously
\n\t
• Someone who enjoys leading, mentoring and being a go-to advisor rather than just executing work
\n
