What to expect
The Independent Partnerships Lead is a key member of the Commercial Operations team, responsible for contributing to the delivery of functional objectives, always modelling the Post Office behaviours, and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Independent Partnerships Lead will share their expertise in Account & relationship Management, demonstrating best practice across the growth and commercial operations team. Please note due to operational requirements you will need to live in one of the following areas - North East England, North Wales, West Midlands, West London or South East England.
The Independent Partnerships Lead will support the Divisional Manager in the delivery of revenue growth, being the key contract for independent partners. They will drive growth across their accounts with excellent relationship management, ensuring strong branch compliance to the performance framework. They will embody a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance; with a key focus on delivering growth within their accounts through branch capability, new locations and operating with partners to clear frameworks.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in B2B relationship management with a strong understanding of Account Management and Business Development: In addition you will possess:
Strategic sales skills, with influencing and negotiating abilities will be vital including leading and negotiating discussions
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication styles and collaborate cross-functionally to drive successful outcomes and business decisions
Commercial business acumen with the ability to make data-driven business decisions
Ability to gather and interpret data from multiple sources and leverage strong stakeholder relationships to develop strategic, insight-led growth plans
A passion for pursuing personal development opportunities and expanding industry knowledge
