We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler for a client based in Halesfield, Telford. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products accurately and efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met.
Hours of work are, Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-1pm.
Duties
* Assemble parts and components / bolts using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment according to technical specifications and drawings.
* Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet company standards.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace at all times.
* Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly for resolution.
* Assist with inventory management by organising parts and materials needed for assembly tasks.
Skills
* Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches.
* Experience with power tools relevant to assembly tasks.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure precise assembly and quality control.
* Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, providing familiarity with organisational procedures
