About Us:

Seaking Electrical Ltd is a trusted electrical engineering company specialising in industrial electrical systems, automation, and control solutions. We deliver high-quality installation, maintenance, and commissioning services across sectors such as manufacturing, utilities, process, and infrastructure.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on a range of projects across industrial sites, carrying out installations, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, termination, and testing of industrial electrical systems and equipment

Fault-finding, repairs, and planned maintenance activities

Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation

Working with containment systems, armoured cabling, and control wiring

Assisting with control panel installations and machinery connections

Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements

Collaborating with supervisors and engineers to deliver projects on time and to specification

Essential Skills & Experience:

Time-served electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification

Proven experience in industrial electrical installation or maintenance

Strong understanding of electrical systems, control wiring, and motor circuits

Competent in using test equipment and completing electrical certification

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Desirable:

ECS or JIB Gold Card

18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

2391 or equivalent testing and inspection qualification

Experience with PLC wiring, control systems, or instrumentation

CompEx certification (advantageous but not essential)

Familiarity with industrial standards and safe systems of work

Willingness to travel (advantageous but not essential).
