Job Description

Nelson Permanent Placements are working with our client who are recruiting for an Industrial Electrician to cover the Midlands area. Our client specialises within hard engineering solutions and provides a full range of services in fast-moving, high-pressure manufacturing facilities, process environments and commercial spaces.\nThis is an opportunity where you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality electrical installations across industrial and manufacturing environments. Working with a well-established, forward-thinking engineering group, you will be part of a team known for its strong technical standards, reliable service and commitment to investing in its people.\nTo be considered for this role as an Industrial electrician you will have:\n * Experience in electrical installation and testing within a process plant environment\n * Essential experience within the manufacturing and industrial sectors\n * 2391 or 2394/5 qualification with strong understanding of condition reporting\n * 17th Edition qualification\n * NVQ Level 3 qualification\n * Level 3 Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations\n * Full UK driving licence\nThe key responsibilities of this role an Industrial Electrician:\n * Carrying out electrical installations involving low-voltage wiring and containment systems\n * Following safe electrical isolation procedures on existing live circuits\n * Installing a range of low-voltage wiring systems and cable containment systems\n * Producing installation and condition reports\n * Testing and energising electrical systems up to 1000V, including new and modified installations\n * Ensuring all operational procedures, safe working practices and health and safety requirements are followed\n * Completing any reasonable tasks assigned in line with your role\nThe employment package for an industrial electrician is:\n * Monday – Friday working\n * £40600 (installation) - £44000 (approved rate)\n * Overtime available at JIB rates\n * Savings and discounts portal through Reward Gateway\n * Healthcare cash plan\n * 24/7 GP helpline including access to a private electronic prescription service\n * Enhanced Employee Assistance Programme\n * Cycle to Work scheme\n * Generous holiday allowance\n * Celebration days and company-wide Christmas party for employees and their partners\n * Annual employee awards\n * Long service awards\n * Free workwear\nHow to Apply:\nThis vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Nelson Permanent Placements Ltd.
