Industrial Refrigeration Engineer (Ammonia) Full-time, Permanent
Location: Leeds (field-based)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + OTE £75,000+ + Benefits

What the Industrial Refrigeration Engineer Will Do:

This is a hands-on, field-based role where youll take ownership of servicing, maintaining and commissioning industrial refrigeration systems, acting as the technical expert on-site.

Service, maintain, repair and commission industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Diagnose and resolve complex faults across mechanical and electrical components
Carry out on-site installations and commissioning to required standards
Produce detailed technical reports and complete documentation for invoicing
Supervise and support junior engineers and apprentices on-site
Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards

The Environment & What You Need:

This role is suited to an experienced engineer who is confident working on industrial systems and comfortable taking ownership on-site.

Minimum 5 years experience in industrial refrigeration
Strong experience working with Ammonia refrigeration systems (essential)
Proven fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
Experience with installation and commissioning of industrial plant
Ability to work independently and lead on-site activity
Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
