Injection Mould Designer

to join our in-house toolroom on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for designing high-precision injection mould tools—from single-impression moulds to multi-cavity hot runner systems—supporting customers in the

medical, automotive, switchgear, and packaging

sectors.

Working Hours 41.5 hours per week Monday–Thursday:

08:00 – 17:00 Friday:

08:00 – 16:00

Main Duties & Responsibilities Designing injection mould tools (single impression and multi-cavity hot runner) Component design and optimisation Participating in and conducting design reviews Applying Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles Producing detailed 3D & 2D designs (Pro/Engineer Creo and SolidWorks desirable) Managing projects from concept to manufacture Providing customer interaction and technical support

Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in

injection mould design ; Toolmaking experience preferred Strong knowledge of: Side cores, up-and-aways, lifters, and complex motions Hot runner systems Steel type selection and polymer behaviour Hydraulics and machining strategies Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality or safety Strong communication and teamwork skills
