Installation and Service Engineer\n\nSector - Healthcare, Nurse Call Systems, Emergency Call Systems, Lone Worker Alarms, Monitoring Systems, Staff Attack Alarms, Electronics\n\nJob Type: Permanent \n\nLocation: Home Based in West Midlands (Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Warwick, Worcester) with UK wide travel \n\nPost Code: B11QU \n\nSalary: £30,000 to £33,000 + Vehicle + Overtime + On-Call Allowance + Pension \n\nStart Date: ASAP \n\nA key player in the Healthcare Emergency and Nurse Call Systems sector currently has an opening for a Field Service Commissioning Engineer.\n\nKey Duties:\n\nService and repair of all systems on site.\nPreventative Maintenance Inspections.\nInstallation work.\nSystem commissioning.\nTechnical assistance by telephone.\nParticipate in an on-call Rota\nOn-site technical back up to sub-contractors and/or other installation companies.\nStock control of spare parts.\nBe confident and comfortable working in hospitals with challenging environments. \n\nJob Competencies/Key Skills:\n\nFamiliarity with a range of hand tools.\nCome from an alarm background - Security Alarm, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm or Nurse Call systems\nFamiliarity with a range of soldering tools.\nKnowledge of test equipment to include DVM, oscilloscopes.\nAbility to work individually or part of a team.\nGood written and oral communication skills.\nWell organized and able to prioritize and multitask. \n\nEssential:\n\nKnowledge of computers.\nUK Driving license and license check.\nDBS Check.\nMust be willing to travel.
