Aran Insulation is committed to developing its staff through training and progression, giving them the tools and opportunities to excel. *Job Role * The position of Loft Installer will focus primarily on the installation of loft insulation in residential and commercial properties. The role involves preparing loft spaces, installing insulation materials to industry standards, and ensuring installations meet energy efficiency and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality insulation installations while maintaining strict health and safety standards. The company will provide necessary training, tools, PPE, uniform, vehicle, and fuel card (company use only) for the successful candidate. The Loft Installer must demonstrate strong attention to detail and strict adherence to health and safety protocols. Strong customer service skills are essential, as the successful candidate will interact with customers and ensure a positive experience throughout the installation process. This includes communicating effectively with customers, addressing any queries or concerns, and providing updates on the progress of the work. *Key Responsibilities*· Prepare loft areas prior to installation, ensuring safe and suitable working conditions · Clear loft spaces of old insulation materials and any obstructing items where required to allow for safe and effective installation · Remove and dispose of old insulation materials in accordance with company procedures and environmental guidelines · Take photographic evidence before, during, and after installation works to support compliance and quality assurance requirements · Install loft insulation materials in accordance with industry standards and regulations · Install or adjust loft ventilation where required to maintain adequate airflow · Ensure installations meet quality, compliance, and energy efficiency standards · Adhere to all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment · Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time · Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor · Follow instructions and guidelines to meet company and regulatory standards · Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow · Complete required paperwork and gather compliance-related evidence or information · Communicate effectively with customers to ensure a positive experience throughout the installation process This job description aims to provide the post holder with an understanding of the anticipated role and the scope of duties and responsibilities involved. While it may not encompass every task, specific assignments and goals will be collaboratively established with the incumbent on a regular basis.
