Job Description
We are supporting our client, a PE-backed business in the West Midlands, by hiring an Interim Finance Project Manager. The role will collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer to provide critical thinking and help develop, build, and execute financial strategy. This will involve navigating multiple priorities and changing projects, including managing cost pressures and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.

Location: West Midlands (2 days p/w onsite with flex)
\n\nContract length: 6-9 months ongoing
\n\nCandidate Rate: £600-£700 per day (outside IR35)

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Finance Project Manager
\n\n- \n\t
- Develop and lead the positioning of financial forecasting, budgets, and reporting performance with the Finance teams. \n\t
- Produce timely and meaningful insights, reports, and projections using robust, accurate, and validated data sets. \n\t
- Review and develop the commercial evaluation of new business and product opportunities across multiple jurisdictions to ensure alignment with company strategy and financial goals. \n\t
- Provide high-standard expertise, strategic partnering, and financial analysis support to executive and SLT stakeholders. \n\t
- Analyse existing workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation \n\t
- Develop and implement solutions to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities \n\t
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of improvement initiatives, and regularly update stakeholders on progress and outcomes \n\t
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop innovative solutions \n

Essential Requirements of the Interim Finance Project Manager
\n\n- \n\t
- CIMA, ACA, and ACCA qualifications are highly desirable. \n\t
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting. \n\t
- Experience in supporting & partnering with senior and C-suite business stakeholders. \n\t
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. \n\t
- Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools (e., Excel, ERP systems, data visualisation tools). \n\t
- Strong communication and presentation skills. \n\t
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities/projects in a fast-paced environment. \n
