It is entering a phase of commercial transformation, focused on building a more structured, data-driven, and customer-centric sales and marketing function. The business places strong emphasis on accountability, collaboration, and effective execution, and offers an opportunity to help shape a scalable platform for future growth. We are looking for strong candidates on an interim, fractional, and permanent (or interim-to-perm basis). The Role & Responsibilities
Execute the organisation’s sales and marketing strategy in close collaboration with senior leadership and external advisors Lead and performance-manage regional sales teams structured around integrated teams, combining account management, business development, and internal sales support Strengthen partner and distributor relationships through structured planning, performance reviews, and governance frameworks Increase end-user influence, reduce revenue leakage, and improve demand conversion through the sales channel Implement customer segmentation and coverage models to improve prioritisation, focus, and resource efficiency Define, document, and embed clear roles, responsibilities, and KPIs across sales and support functions Embed consistent sales processes, CRM discipline, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting Lead and support complex negotiations, tenders, and senior-level customer engagements Manage and align outsourced marketing partners to ensure activity delivers measurable commercial outcomes Produce high-quality reporting, insight, and analysis to support data-led decision making and continuous improvement
The Desired Candidate
Proven experience leading regional or national sales teams within structured, process-driven environments Strong people leadership capability, with a track record of coaching, motivating, and performance-managing teams Commercially astute, with experience in complex negotiations and distributor-led or multi-channel sales models Highly analytical and data-driven, with strong capability in CRM usage, pipeline analysis, and forecasting Demonstrated experience implementing sales processes, KPIs, reporting frameworks, and role clarity Experience managing external marketing agencies or cross-functional partners Highly organised, disciplined, and confident communicator, comfortable operating in fast-paced and evolving environments Background in industrial, technical, or safety-related sectors advantageous but not essential
