About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Interim Quality Assurance Manager to support an established adult social care provider in the South West. This is a pivotal role for an organisation committed to delivering safe, person-centred, and high-quality care across its services.

You'll provide immediate leadership and stability within the Quality function, ensuring robust oversight of compliance, governance, and continuous improvement during a period of transition.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and strengthen the organisation's quality assurance framework across residential, supported living, and community-based services.

  • Oversee internal audits, quality reviews, and action plans to ensure full compliance with CQC regulatory requirements.

  • Support Registered Managers to embed best practice and drive consistent quality standards.

  • Analyse quality data and produce clear, actionable reports for senior leadership.

  • Lead on preparation for inspections, mock inspections, and service improvement plans.

  • Provide expert guidance on safeguarding, incident management, and risk mitigation.

  • Champion a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.


About You
  • Proven track record in quality assurance within adult social care.

  • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks.

  • Confident in leading audits, investigations, and service improvement initiatives.

  • Able to quickly build trust with operational teams and influence positive change.

  • Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable working at pace in an interim environment.

  • Immediately available or available at short notice.
