Are you a confident and experienced Registered Manager ready to lead a newly refurbished children’s home?

We’re looking for an interim Registered Manager to take charge of a residential home supporting looked-after children aged 8–18 with emotional and social needs. Your leadership will be key in guiding the home through Ofsted re-registration and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment. Currently has 2 young people in residence.

Key Details

• Location: Lindley, HD3
• Contract: 3 months at least with a view of going temp to perm!
• Rate: £27- £38 an hour + 7% enhancement for flexibility
• Start Date: ASAP
• Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call duties

Your Role

• Lead the home through Ofsted re-registration
• Manage staff and ensure high standards of care
• Oversee admissions and safe matching of young people
• Maintain compliance with Children’s Home Regulations
• Support young people with emotional regulation and complex needs

What You’ll Need

• Willingness to be xbpsjku Ofsted registered
• At least 2 years’ management experience in the last 5 years
• Experience in mainstream, EBD, secure residential settings or children with disabilities.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Strong safeguarding and therapeutic care knowledge
• Enhanced DBS and barred list check
