An established consultancy that provides contractual and commercial support to Tier One main contractors, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team of qualified professional consultants.
They work on some of the biggest infrastructure projects in London and the South East, across a range of sectors including rail, highways, marine and utilities. Expert in all aspects of NEC and JCT contracts, they work with their clients’ commercial and project management teams providing long-term and short-term support.
Their qualified team of professional consultants have a range of expertise from graduate, intermediate, senior and expert and are available to work on-site at a chosen location, remotely or within our offices. They can provide change management, dispute avoidance and adjudication management.
Job Responsibilities:
* Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
* Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
* Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow, and ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.
* Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
* Managing contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice
* Driving improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets
Person Specification:
* Ideally Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
* Ideally hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent.
* Good knowledge of NEC4 Contracts
* Must be able to drive and hold a full licence
