Internal Account Manager – Smurfit Westrock Zedek UK Hybrid: 3 days based in Leicester Office/ 2 days WFH Are you looking for your next career move in sales support and account management? We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Account Manager to join our team in Leicester. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth and efficient processes. The role is based in our Leicester Office and reports to the UK Sales Director. As an Internal Account Manager, you will act as a vital link between our customers, account managers, and internal departments. Your responsibilities will include managing customer accounts, handling requests, preparing accurate quotations, and following up promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. You will maintain strong client relationships, support account managers, and monitor delivery schedules and stock levels, assisting with transport and delivery queries when needed. Accuracy and attention to detail are key, as you will process sales orders from entry through to invoicing and identify customer needs and areas for improvement, providing timely feedback and solutions. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency, while also managing supplier requests and trade orders. We are looking for someone with experience using ERP and CRM systems, along with strong MS Excel skills. You should have excellent communication abilities, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as the capacity to multitask and prioritise effectively under pressure. A confident and flexible approach is important, and previous experience in packaging, Point of Sale, or a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
