Position - Internal Sales ExecutiveDaventry 100% office-based roleSalary - £30,000 - £33,000Hours of Work: 08:15 16:45, Monday to Thursday and 08:30 16:00, FridayAbout the Role:Our client is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join their sales team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will combine customer service, product knowledge, and sales expertise to build strong relationships and drive growth within your territory.Youll be the first point of contact for many of their customers, providing expert advice, handling enquiries, and proactively identifying opportunities to grow sales and margins.Key Responsibilities:Handle customer enquiries professionally via telephone and email, delivering an outstanding customer experienceProcess customer orders, quotations, and sales transactions accurately and efficientlyAdvise customers on product availability, pricing, and stock levels, ensuring all information is captured correctlyPrepare and follow up on quotations and open enquiries to maximise conversionProvide technical advice and specialist product knowledge to support customer needsProactively contact new and existing customers through warm and cold outbound calls within your allocated regionIdentify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell products and promotionsBuild and maintain strong, long-term customer relationshipsWork closely with the Purchasing and External Sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and sales efficiencyManage customer issues, including order queries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentationSupport sales campaigns by sending literature and catalogues and following up accordinglyMaintain accurate records and update customer information on internal systemsWork collaboratively within a small, target-driven team to achieve territory and company goalsAttend meetings, and training sessionsPerson Specification:Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident and professional telephone mannerA strong focus on customer experience and relationship buildingSales-driven mindset with enthusiasm for meeting and exceeding targetsAbility to learn new products, services, and systems quicklyProactive, positive, and can-do attitudeStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload effectivelyComfortable working under pressure, both independently and as part of a teamConfident, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach to workJBRP1_UKTJ
