Internal Sales Manager
is urgently required to oversee sales, service, and marketing functions by managing the sales office and reporting directly to the Sales Director. This role does
not
include line management responsibilities. As internal sales manger you will manage the
parts and service business , providing timely quotations and driving revenue growth across parts, service, and support contracts. As internal sales manager you will also support the wider sales and marketing teams, ensuring all opportunities are responded to promptly. The role includes responsibility for organising trade shows and exhibitions. Hybrid:
The position will
begin onsite
to support onboarding and collaboration with the sales, engineering, and production teams. After this period, a
3:2 hybrid working pattern
can be adopted if preferred. The ideal internal sales manager will have strong experience in office administration and the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent sales and marketing activities, often on a global scale. Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is essential, along with a willingness to learn new tools and systems. Key Responsibilities
Manage internal sales for parts, service, and support contracts. Carry out sales process administration, including CRM updates, reporting, and tender documentation. Manage and distribute sales tools such as quote templates, price lists, and marketing collateral. Organise trade shows and exhibitions, including venue booking and shipment coordination. Support website administration in collaboration with the Sales Director and external contractors. Oversee the smooth running of multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met. Handle routine sales duties including answering sales calls and managing physical sales documents. Respond to parts, service, and support enquiries, issuing quotations promptly. Proactively contact customers to grow service and support contract revenue. Collaborate with service, sales, and marketing teams, acting as the primary internal point for projects. Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Review and interpret contractual obligations, identifying risks or penalties and escalating appropriately. Organise and deliver exhibition plans, including logistics. Participate in monthly sales meetings and distribute minutes and action items. Liaise with internal teams, distributors, subcontractors, and suppliers. TRAVEL: Occasional UK travel to customer and contractor sites (ad hoc; own car required; mileage reimbursed). Qualifications & Experience
Degree qualified (STEM background preferred)
science or engineering Strong experience in office administration and managing concurrent sales and marketing responsibilities. Proficient with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Experience organising trade shows or exhibitions. Experience in Sales Office Administration. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively. Familiarity with business contracts. Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Highly motivated, positive, and determined, Flexible, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to travel within the UK as required. European language skills are an advantage. Base Salary:
