Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA- Office Based (Location subject to change due to planned Northwest office relocation)
Contract: Full Time / Permanent
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience & Bonus Scheme

About the role…
EG Group are seeking a highly organized and proactive IT Administrator & Coordinator to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, assist with the management of IT projects, and facilitate communication within the IT team and with other departments.
The IT Administrator & Coordinator provides essential administrative and coordination support to the IT function, with a particular focus on finance and procurement activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of internal processes, supporting leadership teams, managing documentation and communication flows, and maintaining structured reporting and vendor coordination.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, organisational ability, and the initiative to drive efficiency and consistency in a fast-paced and evolving technology environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the IT department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organising departmental records.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, presentations, and IT documentation.
- Utilise SAP, Office 365, and relevant cost tracking tools to support day-to-day activities.
- Raise and manage IT purchase requisitions, POs, and goods receipts via SAP.
- Facilitate internal and external communication by managing emails, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence.
- Design and circulate the monthly IT newsletter
- Liaise with other departments and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operation of IT services.
- Scheduling and attending meetings, taking minutes and maintaining confidentiality.
- Creating and distributing technical and business documents, including board packs, presentations, and reports, adhering to company guidelines.
- Supporting the senior team with administrative duties.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role, preferably within an IT or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of Office Management Systems, procedures, and IT-related terminology.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) and familiarity with email scheduling tools.
- A basic understanding of IT infrastructure and operations is advantageous.
