CK Group are working in partnership with Nxera Pharma, to recruit an IT Infrastructure Engineer, to join their expanding IT Team.
This role is ideal for candidates with proven hands-on experience within a multi-site IT environment i.e. Network and Infrastructure maintenance and deployment roles or similar.

About the Role:
The IT Infrastructure Engineer role offers a 50/50 split of project-based work and BAU (Business As Usual) support.
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform inhouse IT Infrastructure activities & provide day to day support.
- Develop infrastructure solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and networking components.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure issues, including hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current infrastructure needs and plan for future requirements.
- Ensure security infrastructure is built to meet security and availability requirements.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years proven experience within an IT environment. i.e. Network and Infrastructure maintenance and deployment roles.
- Understanding of IT Infrastructure concepts used in dispersed organisations, such as IP networking, AD, DNS, group policies, Office 365, Routing, NAT, ACL and other Microsoft/Networking technologies (e.g. Azure AD, Intune).
- Familiarity with IT hardware including routers, firewalls, physical and virtual server environments.
- Good knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and 2022.
- Good knowledge of virtualised environments (e.g. VMware, Azure).
- Proficient in Computer Networks: LAN, VLAN’s, WAN, IPSec, SSL, Route based tunnels, Wi-Fi, DHCP and DNS.
Desirable:
- Industry certifications (e.g. CCNA, Microsoft/MCSE, VMware) (desirable).
- Knowledge of system validation and audit processes e.g. GCP/GXP/SOX (desirable).
